This business is not run by someone who was content to learn French in high school and college and let it go at that. I lived in Paris and Brussels for a total of 12 years, and have visited Paris many times since 1985, when The French Connection was founded. Although I earned a B.A. in French Literature at Hood College in Frederick, Maryland, I was practicing French translation long before there were such things as translation schools. It is my hearfelt belief that it is what one produces, not a diploma or honorific title, that should be the measure of an excellent translator. 

 

My customers' needs are of the utmost importance, and I am committed to meeting them. As a result, a high percentage of my business comes from repeat customers and referrals. At the moment, most of my customers are based in France. Some have been working with me for over 15 years. My current goal is to continue to serve French clients while at the same time expanding my business here in the U.S.
